Two years ago, when the world was locked up due to Covid, Lina decided to take the flight of her life and opened her branding agency "Envol," meaning flight in French. Now, she enjoys a life full of freedom, autonomy, and independence in the city of love and art, Paris.
Her agency is helping small businesses stand out and get their voices heard thanks to a unique brand image and eye-catching designs. Lina’s agency is different in the sense that it combines brand imaging and graphic designing to provide a strong visual identity to its clients.
You may know Lina from her marketing expertise and quality designs, but we were able to get in first-hand contact with the design enthusiast herself. And she was kind enough to answer our questions!
How Did You Become a Graphic Artist?
Living in the city of love and art impacts your soul in a strange way.
I was always a curious and creative individual and had an affinity towards design. But nature had a different plan for me. Before I knew it, I was studying marketing at a business school in France.
During the lockdown, there was plenty of time to reflect over my choices, and I started questioning everything. It was at this time that I decided to pursue my passion. Resultantly, I created "Envol Agency," where I would combine my knowledge of marketing and my passion for designing to create a cohesive brand image for my clients.
It has been more than two years, and we are going stronger than ever. “Envol” is all about helping companies find their visual identity, tell their story impactfully, and reach a bigger audience.
Why Envol? What does the word mean to you?
In French, Envol means flight. To me, Envol means gaining independence and being autonomous, as the agency helped me become a boss and a decision-maker.
This word is full of meanings for me as it marks the beginning of my entrepreneurial story and of my clients too. My agency, no doubt, was a flight in its true essence.

What inspires your art?
I try to get inspiration from the beauty around me. Whether I'm just strolling in my neighborhood or traveling to the other side of the world, I try to find things that would help my creativity. For artists, it's all the little things in life that most people miss which get their creative juices flowing.
Everything I see or touch inspires me. Sometimes, it's just a feeling of contentment, love, gratitude, and happiness. To be honest, this world is an inspiration in itself.
What is your daily process like?
I like to wake up and have a nice and peaceful breakfast first thing in the morning. Then, I usually head to the gym to rejuvenate myself for the day. It helps me let off the steam and focus on my tasks ahead.
Once I’m done exercising, I like to start by getting some inspiration from Instagram, Pinterest, and other visual platforms. I will then start on my to-do list, energized and inspired for the day.
When I have an idea, I don't just design. My method combines analysis, creativity, strategy, and intuition. I take the time to understand who the brand is in order to express it through a strategic and unique identity to help it stand out.
It takes a lot of concentration throughout the day, you see.
Who buys your art from Social Media Calendar?
My clients are entrepreneurs who want to tell their stories wholeheartedly. I design Canva templates for small and medium-sized businesses, so they can have a cohesive and aesthetic Instagram.
Most of my clients don’t have the time to work on their Instagram feed from scratch. Sometimes, they buy my designs and adapt them to their brand. Other times, I create designs based on their brand identity so that their Instagram looks visually appealing and put together.
It's a great way to start a business, as it saves your time and energy.
Do you have any other jobs besides this one?
No, graphic designing and brand strategist is my full-time job. I love being my own boss, pursuing my passion, and having the freedom I’ve never gotten before. I wouldn’t want to trade that for anything else.
Where do you see yourself in five years?
My plan is to only go up from here. So, hopefully, in five years, I'll have a team by my side, working to make this crazy adventure a success!
What do you want to say to your fans?
Pursue your dreams, get out of your comfort zone, and take your envol/flight like me. It might be scary, and it’s not easy for sure, but it will leave you with more than you can imagine.
